BENEFITS OF CAPSAICIN FOR PROTECTION FROM RODENTS
Capsicum oleoresin contains the active ingredient capsaicin which is the very strong tasting, spicy part of a chili pepper. Capsaicin is a neuropeptide releasing agent selective for primary sensory peripheral neurons. Rodents and many pests are strongly repelled by the hot and spicy taste of capsaicin.
Capsaicin is also used in medical, skin and personal care applications for heating and desensitising.
The inclusion of MircoLock CP in moulded plastics, soy derived plastics, rubber compounds for automotive, aerospace and industrial applications protects manufactured assets from damage from pests and rodents.
